A real family home,
looking for another family

"My name is Yulia. My husband, our daughter and I are heading off this summer — and we would love for our home to become someone else's home while we're away."

This isn't an Airbnb listing. It's our house, the one we live in and love. We're looking for one family who would enjoy it the same way we do — mornings by the pool, evenings on the terrace, weekends exploring Sintra and the coast.

We'd love to meet before agreeing anything — even a brief conversation goes a long way. This is our home, and we care who stays in it.

The house is large — 485m² of construction — with the kind of space that lets a family truly spread out. Two separate living rooms, a full kitchen with traditional azulejo tiles, and a terrace wide enough for long summer evenings.

Not a show home. Our books are on the shelves, our art is on the walls. But it's well cared-for, and everything works.

We have a 3-year-old ourselves, so the house is set up exactly the way young families need. Everything that matters is already here — you won't need to pack or hire a thing.

If your children are similar in age, you're welcome to use everything. Or we can clear it all away to give you a clean slate — just let us know.

Praia das Maçãs is a small Atlantic beach village in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park — quiet, unhurried, and genuinely beautiful. Not a tourist resort. A place where people actually live.

A note from us

Not a hotel.
A real home.

We want to be straightforward. The house is lived-in and personal — our family's things are here, our daughter's drawings might be on the fridge. It's comfortable and well-maintained, but it is a home, not a serviced property.

How handover works
We'd love to meet you in person before you move in — not just to hand over the keys, but to walk you through the house properly and make sure you're settled. We are available for handover up to the evening of 3 July, after which we fly to Europe for the summer. If you're arriving close to that date, please let us know and we'll make sure it works.

What we're looking for
One family, two months or less, who will treat the house the way we do. A short conversation first — by phone or in person — matters to us before anything is agreed. Available: 29 June – 31 August 2026
Registered Alojamento Local — Casa da Vinda is a fully registered short-term rental property (AL 172007 · RNAL SM E-62361/2025) in compliance with Portuguese local accommodation law. Civil liability insurance is in place.
